Thoughts about Raw Honey

Honey is in its purest form while still in the comb. Honeycomb is edible and adds a whole new dimension to eating honey by combining texture and flavor. It can be used on muffins, bagels, fruit, etc. or chewed like gum. Swarmbustin' Honey produces round sections of honeycomb (packaged by the bees themselves) and chunk honey, which is a combination of comb and liquid honey.

Once honey is extracted, the delicate flavor can be maintained by a minimum of processing. "Totally Raw Honey" has been carefully extracted from the honeycomb using centrifugal force. The honey is allowed to fall freely from the extractor directly into the bottle. We use no heat, filters or strainers while bottling "Totally Raw Honey". There may be pieces of bee pollen, propolis and honeycomb on the top of the jar. All of this is nutritious. In the event that there is not much visible on the top, there are still pieces of pollen, propolis and honeycomb suspended in the honey, so you get truly "Totally Raw Honey" in every spoonful.
